Buying a home is a daunting experience for anyone yet alone if you’re buying in a foreign country!

This blog has been created to help those who are looking at purchasing a property in France either as a holiday home, buy to let investment or as a main place of residence.

I originally ran a website called Life in France from 1999 to 2002 and have been assisting people in obtaining French mortgages for the past six years through www.frenchmortgagedirect.com. I have been through the purchase process myself so understand the various stages you will go through when buying in France.
